My Project

Many of my students are from low income households. They work hard and love to have hands on activities that help solidfy our learning targets.

Students can fly kites as they learn about how climate and environment affect what people do and wear.

This will be a great springtime activity that will help us learn our social studies standards. They will get to take the kite home and use for the remainder of the season and even into the next years. We are also tying kite flying into our literature standards as we read Frog and Toad "The Kite."
