Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love to use different materials to transform my classroom into different adventures. One of these is camping! Students make a tent out of their desk, use flashlights and lanterns to read with, and it would be fun to have a camp fire to read by.

Have a reading tent and some forest elements would make for a great camping experience!

My students always look forward to our room transformations. I love planning for them and setting them up. Even though they can be a lot of work sometimes, it is always worth it. This time around, I would like to transform the classroom into a campground, and we will “campout” all day.
