My Project

Thank you for considering giving my middle school mathematicians a Way to Glow! experience that allows them to engage with middle school math in an immersive classroom transformation using centers to review the various standards and concepts covered throughout the year.

Through a glow in the dark experience, we will have a classroom transformation that excites and engages students, allowing active learning, empowering critical thinking, and fostering collaborative problem solving in an enchanting environment to celebrate and encourage skills retention.

Students will engage in differentiated activities, promoting diverse learning opportunities, and will be able to have gamified enrichment opportunities by visiting different learning centers that provide various levels of challenges to meet the needs of diverse learners.

I am requesting LED blacklights, a wooden tumble tower game, a LED ring toss game, a TPT gift card to purchase review materials, and supplies that will excite and support instruction. These supplies will be able to promote understanding throughout the year as we review various concepts to meet the North Carolina Standards for Math in Grades 6-8.

Our Show Up to Glow Up day of review would be a first of its kind for many of these students, and in addition to connecting students to math in the real world, it is a personal mission of mine to make math something memorable. With your support, this is something we can achieve together. Thank you for your generosity and consideration with this exciting initiative!
