Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day, my students show me the beauty of diversity in learning. As students with special needs and English language learners in a Title I school, they navigate challenges that require both patience and creativity. Despite these obstacles, they continue to amaze me with their unique talents, perspectives, and determination to succeed.

The resources I’m requesting—a diffuser, plants, and soft lighting—are designed to create a calm, sensory-friendly environment where my students can thrive.

These items will make a big difference by reducing distractions, easing anxiety, and providing a more comfortable space for learning. The diffuser will promote a relaxing atmosphere with soothing scents, while the plants and lights will add warmth and tranquility, helping to reduce sensory overload and enhance focus.

My goal is to build a classroom that not only supports my students academically but also meets their sensory and emotional needs. These resources will help create a peaceful environment where they can feel safe, centered, and ready to take on new challenges. My students deserve a space that reflects their individuality and encourages their growth, and with your help, we can make that happen!
