Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our new English Language Curriculum has students learn words that may be 'tricky' for them to learn. Help me make learning these tricky and daily sight words, that they have to master by the end of Kindergarten, fun! With these items, they would record themselves saying the words and if needed rerecord to master them. Making it interactive and something they see as soon as they enter the classroom could spark that interest to practice the words even more. Having them see and practice these words every day with the pocket chart, laminated sight word cards, worksheets + writing prompts from teacher-created resources would help me reinforce the words leading to them knowing how and when to use them in their daily writing, and lastly, games would make learning these words a fun/exciting way for all to master!
