Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Starting the school year can be very overwhelming for parents, teachers and students. Each item in my project makes it a little bit easier for all. Notebooks will be used for students to practice daily writing skills and shared reading passages. A cozy couch will be a place where students can read books while eating a snack. The lollipops will be our Friday, sweet treat day candy. Lastly, the focus pop it bands will not only be used to help calm students but to also let everyone know that we are a first grade family and by wearing the bands we show our unity.
