Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Pre-K students are enthusiastic and dedicated learners. Each day, they come to school eager to develop their writing skills. Daily name practice and exposure to various writing tools are essential for building their foundational skills. To foster continued learning, it’s important for them to have access to a variety of art and school supplies, such as assorted markers and laminating pouches for practicing their names.

In my classroom, these supplies are used frequently and run out quickly.

Many of my students are experiencing school for the first time and haven’t yet developed the skills needed to properly care for writing utensils. As a result, markers are often left uncapped and dry out quickly. Markers are used daily for both writing and drawing, making their longevity essential for the classroom.

The goal of this project is to restock the classroom materials for the upcoming school year, ensuring that my students have the supplies they need for a successful start. Your support will provide them with a fresh, well-equipped environment where they can continue to develop and practice their writing skills.
