Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class of 25 transitional kindergarten/kindergarten students live in the heart of Los Angeles! We are located in a small community in the north east area where everyone is like family. We have a little more than 300 students on campus and enjoy working in our green spaces. My class believes in teamwork and community building. We call ourselves, "The Mighty little Eagles" because we work together and never give up on our goals.

Our class is always ready to work hard and become life long learners.

We take on any challenge that comes our way and we would love to have you become part of our team by helping us have a wonderful experience this school year!

My Project

Our school will be opening for the first time in over a year. It won't look the same, but our kids will still need the same support if not more. Sharing items such as crayons and glue bottles was a very common thing to do before. Now everything will need to be individualized.

Each student will need their own supplies that only they will be in contact with.

They will be placed in the pencil boxes and bins for organizing, along with many other new procedures and routines. This might be an adjustment at first, but it will be for the safety of our students.
