Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I School with 100% free lunch for all. My students are creative, respectful and have an enormous love for learning. My students are investigative learners who enjoy also engaging in deep discussion with their peers. They love hands-on and engaging projects that allow them to think outside the box. They come to school each day ready to try new things in order to grow. Our school services many students that are in temporary housing. They are great and such an inspiration to all!

Many students in my classroom complete work by using multiple modalities.

Students in my classroom have difficulty completing assignments due to the lack of resources that are available in the room. My students are eager to come to school everyday and learn despite everything they have to deal with. I believe with the right resources and materials my students will be able to soar to new heights!

My Project

The items that are in this project are going to really help out the students in my classroom!

I would love to provide my students with materials that will make presentations a little less stressful.

In the classroom, the SmartBoard and Chromebooks are used on a daily bases. Having the presentation cart and remote will make a big difference. Not only will the cart and remote be used for lesson plans and to stay organized while they are implemented, but the students will use them when they give oral presentations. We often having writing celebrations at the end of each writing unit, so the students will be able to place their writing pieces on the cart and present their work. The remote will make it easier to display PowerPoint slides they may create during the year. Our students really love presenting their work to their peers. This is a way for them to display how hard they have worked during each unit.
