My Project

It's the time of year where my students will take the State assessment. The students have prepared all year for this opportunity to show what they have learned. This test is taken over two day and the students have 3 and a half hours each day to take it. This is a long time for my students to stare at the computer.

My students therefore use snacks to keep their energy up.

Unfortunately, their snacks include chips full of salt and grease, candy with enough sugar for a week, and sodas. All of which equal a sugar crash, that makes the students sleepy during testing. This steal precious time from them completing the test with confidence. The granola bars will give them whole grains so they will not be hungry until lunch can be served. The juice will help them wash the granola down with a lot less sugar than a soda. The mints and candies are motivation for them to keep going.
