My Project

This is one of the most stressful times of the year. Students are preparing to pass their advanced placement exams to earn a college credit. After spring break, I like to provide mini bootcamps in class for students to focus solely on preparing for AP exams. The supplies I am requesting for our classroom will help motivate, increase concentration, and give students additional needed supplies to review testing information.

Our goal is for students to have ear buds, snacks, and supplies to assist in studying for advanced placement exams.

Since most of the information consist of reviewing videos and practice assessments through college board, our scholars are in need for additional ear buds to have privacy while studying materials. Sometimes students will stay after school or come in early to dedicate more time to their AP subjects. Snacks are always good for concentration. Since we sometimes play games for engagement, a sweet treat as a reward goes a long way.

My students are special because of their unique background and drive to push through despite of their challenges. Even with constant adversities, they still strive to make the best out of their situation. There are challenges, but we don’t want any excuse for them not to do well on AP exams. All I ask is for them to do their very best. In return, I will make sure as their teacher they have what they need to be successful.
