Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being an organized student doesn’t come easy to all. I know how easy it is for my students to misplace notes or a pencil. The items I have requested include pencil pouches, dividers, sheet protectors, supply caddies, a drawer and more.

The items I have requested will make a difference in my students learning because they will have access to tools that will help them stay organized and ready to learn.

I plan to use the pencil pouches, dividers and sheet protectors to keep an organized AVID binder. Students will be able to have a specific section in their binders for each subject. Additionally, the supply caddies and highlighters will be placed in student tables so they have easy access to materials needed throughout the day. Finally, the drawer will be used to place extra copies for students who were absent.

These items will help me teach my students how to be responsible and organized.
