Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In an Integrated Co-Teaching special education classroom, we use A LOT of paper resources. For example, in a given week we hand out two homework assignments and daily classwork, activities, and assessments. Now imagine all that paper... and double (or even triple) it! In our classroom, we modify all assignments to match the mixed abilities of our diverse learners. We create multiple modified versions and then attempt to sift through our stacks of packets to hand out the level-appropriate versions for each student.

Paper and supplies organizers will not only make our classroom more efficient, but they will also enable our students to utilize these organizational systems on their own!

Each year, my co-teacher and I try to improve our teaching in a different way. This year, we are ready to put an end to the paper stacks madness and, with your support, do right by our students!
