My Project

I teach an adorable group of preschoolers who have unique needs. One of the main things I focus on in my classroom is how to communicate appropriately and how to be a nice friend. Many of my students need a learning environment that is neat, tidy and easy to access. Every item in my classroom has a specific place and a specific container to help my students learn rules and routines.

These bins will help me organize my room and make it easier for my students to locate materials and to teach them how to request items appropriately.

They will allow us to easily see what items are in each container. The containers with lids will help address my students’ motor skills and sensory needs. The large containers will allow me to clear off counter space. I’ve been a teacher for almost 10 years and have accumulated a lot of materials that can’t always be in the reach of my students. A more organized classroom will help to minimize distractions.
