My Students

My students walk into school eager to start each and every day. We start our days by spending fifteen minutes to gain focus, support students who need encouragement, and make sure we are all ready to learn from each other. Our school is K-5 and has a diverse group of students.

We have endured so much this past year, and so much has changed.

Kids have shown their resilience and learned to be flexible and to adapt. I would like to create a classroom environment that encourages their new flexible nature.

Our class is full of bright minds with great ideas waiting to be shared with the world.

My Project

This is my most honest project of all time. Our school district provides teachers with the most bulky and unfunctional desks around. They are beasts and have very limited uses, especially with the amount of space they take up.

With this project I would like to streamline my workspace to make our classroom and myself more functional.

With the "L shaped" desk I will be able to have my space on one side and with a small group on the other side. This will help consolidate my space and free up more room for them.
