My Students

Every morning our school shouts out our motto, which describes them as being leaders, responsible, respectful, resourceful, and proud. My students follow this motto in school and in life.

My students come from a city that has been considered one of the most dangerous cities in America.

Despite that, they are creating their own path to a successful future. It amazes me to see how fully engaged they are to learn each and every day. I feel privileged to teach such a great group of kids.

My Project

Help me give my students organizational bins for our science lab! We have been blessed with many different science materials from our school and DonorsChoose.org. We need a way to store all our materials. We want to organize our materials properly and safely so we can use these materials for years to come!

I want to turn this project into a learning experience for all my students.

Organization is a lifelong skill that many times as teachers we do not have the opportunity to teach their students. This project will give us the materials to get our classroom organized. My students will be able to take this life lesson with them in the real world.
