My Students

I am so lucky to be able to teach kindergarten at a school in Brooklyn, NY. My students year after year are so driven to learn. This year is many of our kinders first year of school. As we move through this unpredictable year, I want to make sure we have the materials to help support all of our learners in a whole, small and independent setting. These essential resources and materials that will benefit their educational growth in this foundational year of learning.

Our school is truly a barrier free school, serving all students who walk through the doors.

We want all those students to learn with joy. Our goal is to find the gifts in all of our students through challenging curriculum, differentiated learning, projects and creating fun and engaging lessons, targeting all the ways students learn best.

My Project

My students go through their pencils and expo markers very quickly. The donation of pencils and expo markers and erasers allows me to replace these materials right away. The bins and ziplocs will help students have their iPads and headphones as well as other materials at the ready throughout the day. The wipes will allow for quick student clean up after breakfast and snacks. The word games will help students increase their reading and writing levels whether at choice time or during reading center time. The colored pencils will help make our published writing pieces beautiful works of writing and art.
