My Students

Our school is located in the inner city of Philadelphia. Our students come from many different backgrounds and are culturally diverse. Many of their families don't speak English, and they are here for the first time. The students strive for greatness and are motivated to learn. Our students enjoy a variety of different sports and enjoy physical activity. Most importantly the students love school and are ready to learn no matter the circumstances.

My Project

My students need music during their physical education class. The stereo I am asking for will make my classroom more inviting and engaging and can increase their level of fitness and participation. At my school I stress the importance of physical activity and I want make it enjoyable for kids. Music can allow students to have fun while participating. Our students' lives will be improved by being healthier. There are statistics that show students that engage in physical activity ultimately do better academically. Furthermore, the stereo can be a vital classroom management technique to tell students when to start and stop.
