My Project

Recess is one of the most important parts of the school day. Not only does it give students the opportunity to be physically active but it also gives them the opportunity to interact with their peers and build friendships. Unfortunately, my students do not have access to a playground or recess equipment so recess is not as enjoyable for them. My school only has a blacktop and grass for my students to play on at recess. Whatever toys my students have to play with at recess are toys that they bring from home.

My students are young learners who are active and need to be able to move.

These get moving mats will allow them get active during our recess time. This is a resource that is going to help my students get active.
