My Students

We have about 300 students ranging from K-5. We are a small school in an urban community. My students are 5th graders and in their last year of elementary school. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds.

These students vary in their technology skills, to the point that I have learned tricks and problem solving skills from them.

They are visual learners that do best when work is modeled for them and not just told to them. The more I can do this, the more they can catch up from what they have missed do to covid.

My Project

Students will be able to use this technology in all subject areas. For math, they can show their work on problems projected on the board. In most circumstances, when students are completing work in their math book, only the teacher walking around can see the work being done. With the iPevo, they can model their work on the board while it is displaying their math book. They can help students edit the writing by marking on displayed work without writing on a student's actual paper. Books can be annotated without damaging the pages. There are countless ways that this technology tool can be used to enhance students' learning.
