Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are about to end the current school year, and before you know it, the 2022-2023 school year will be approaching quickly. This year I decided to get a head start on projects so that I can assure I have all I need at the start of the school year. I have reflected on how supplies and other necessities were used in my class this year, and used that information to determine what would best suit my class for next year.

As always, I want my students to come in on the first day feeling like everything they need is already being provided to them.

Headphones were very well-loved this past school year, so this year I decided to get everyone their own personal pair. Incentives such as fidget toys and Croc charms continue to be popular for 5th graders. I also can't start a new school year off without new inclusive books! I am excited for my 9th year of teaching, and can't wait to share new resources with my new students.
