My Students

My students are from the south side of Chicago. They live in a neighborhood that is plagued with violence. They face adversity almost on a daily basis, especially in school struggling with reading. These students are very resilient! They take the challenges that come their way with stride, striving to be better daily!

Over the past year, scholars have really taken their learning to the next level.

These students have taken responsibility for their learning and their effort is paying off!

My Project

These materials will make such a difference in the first couple of weeks of school. A lot of students do not have the necessary supplies to start out the school year. These supplies will ensure that students are not left behind and will be able to full particpate in class and complete homework.

Students need to be prepared and ready to work from day one to be able to succeed throughout the year.

The first couple of weeks of school are so important. We want to ensure that students have everything that they need to start the school year off right so that they can be confident and successful day one!
