My Students

I teach a fun, active group of 25-second graders. They love to learn and work together. In second grade, we learn a lot of new skills every day. These students are eager to learn and apply their skills every day!

My students are on a variety of levels in the classroom.

They need engaging ways to practice the skills they are missing. My students that are reading above level need engaging ways to challenge their brains!

They need new and exciting experiences to keep them engaged in our curriculum. I like to provide them with experiences that will immerse them in the learning and teach them about the world we live in.

My Project

The beginning of the school year is always a crazy time. There are so many materials that are needed to help us be successful for the year. Pencils are used like crazy and you can never have enough! Getting multiple pencils at the beginning of the year helps ease stress as the year goes on.

It is so important to get the year started out right!

Using whiteboards is so engaging! The kids are so excited to get out there whiteboards and use them to solve problems. We are always in need of new white board markers. The erasers will help solve so much stress. Erasers are always lost and this will give us a class set that is high quality and won't get lost as easily.

Chart paper is always a need! Anchor charts are so engaging and get the kids excited to add on information that will be displayed in the room. They are also more likely to refer to them when they are needing the information on them.

These materials will give us a successful start to the school year!
