Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are 5th graders at a Title I school. Our school was presented this year with the Golden Bell Award for our Safe and Civil procedures. We are very proud of this award that we earned by providing the students with structure and procedures that they follow daily on our campus.

Our students are economically and ethnically diverse and they love coming to school and are enthusiastic about learning everyday.

They love exploring and learning new concepts. I am always looking for new ways to challenge them. They are our future and I want to be able to set them up to succeed.

My Project

Please help me give my students a hands on science experience in the classroom! These activities will help engage students in the classroom when it comes to learning science. The stem activities will help engage and reach the students in new ways. I’m always looking for new ways to engage the students and making them think outside the box. I’m hoping that these activities will be able to promote new ways of looking at science and scientific activities. I am hoping to give the students a new and positive experience when it comes to science.
