My Project

Our goal is to start a 2nd grade hydroponic garden, one classroom at a time. Students are currently building their research skills and science knowledge through a study of the secret world of plants and pollinators. Students are navigating informational texts and learning how plants grow and survive. We are dedicated to providing innovative and enriching educational experiences to connect their research with a real-life experience. We firmly believe that a hydroponic growing system in our 2nd grade classroom can be a transformative tool for learning. A hydroponic growing system would off a unique opportunity for children to engage in hands-on learning. Students can actively participate in every stage of plant growth, from planting seeds to harvesting. This experiential learning approach fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation for the work we are doing in the classroom and the world around them.

To implement this initiative successfully, we kindly request your support and contribution.
