We love our students! Mrs. Thompson and I are Title I Math Intervention teachers who work with struggling students. In addition to academic struggles, many of our students have difficulty remaining still for longer periods of time.
Flexible seating would allow our students to move in a non-disruptive way while working toward success in mathematics.
When given choices, such as flexible seating in the classroom, followed by expectations of utilizing flexible seating, students are more likely to be successful. Flexible seating allows students to take responsibility for their learning and self-advocate for what works best for them.
My Project
Flexible seating allows students to take responsibility for their learning and self-advocate for what works best for them.
A safe and comfortable learning environment for my students is imperative to the foundation of their education.
When given choices, such as flexible seating in the classroom, followed by expectations of utilizing flexible seating, students are more apt to perform better. The product I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The Flexspace Balance Ball Seats are similar to a yoga ball and have feet to help keep them from rolling around!
Thank you for checking out our project and considering funding it!
