As a teacher of a low-income, high poverty school my students are faced with daily challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. My students are clever, inquisitive, and creative learners.
They like to receive positive attention and praise all while achieving new milestones they overcome in the classroom.
From the minute the children walk in the door, I create a warm, welcoming environment where we can focus on the child’s potential and growth. Although I may not be able to control their home lives, I can certainly create a positive experience during the school day. By doing this, I am hoping to inspire these young learners to continue on a path of academic success for one’s future.
My Project
The children in my classroom enjoy using their imagination to play in the dollhouse. Our dollhouse is old and outdated. I would like to give the children a new dollhouse where they can foster their creativity.
The Seasons All-In-One Dollhouse would be a perfect fit for my classroom.
The children would be able to improve their fine motor skills, develop social skills, and expand their vocabulary on a daily basis. This will also give my students to opportunity for open ended play.
In conclusion, you would be helping make a difference in a child by helping give them the skills they need in the future.
