Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, we are working on creating job-ready citizens by giving our students experiences in work-based programs to practice necessary skills. In our construction program, students learn how to use hand and power tools to perform a number of different types of fixes and creations.

These materials are essential for our students to have the repetitive practice to hone construction job skills that they can use later in their own homes or when in a workplace.

The paint materials will be used for big and small projects. Students will be making holiday projects for upcoming holidays that they will be creating and designing. We also will be practicing painting bigger structures with paint rollers so that we can paint some of the structures on our campus. Some of the other consumable items such as glitter and resin will be used in future projects, which will take students' practiced abilities to measure, design, and execute directions.
