My Project

It's my first year teaching at a new High School and I want to give my students everything they need to succeed! My wonderful co-teacher and I have 25 exuberant 9th graders with learning differences. We've only been together for 2 weeks but I can already see their diverse personalities, skills, and potential shining through. Our class will be together for all 4 years of high school, so these resources will serve them for their entire high school career.

Our new classroom needs supplies so that my 9th-grade students can get creative!

These supplies will not only be used for academic work, but also for them to be able to express themselves artistically. We have a number of students who enjoy drawing and creating poetry, and I can't wait to see what they create. I will also be able to use these materials to create posters and anchor charts for students to refer to throughout the year. We need pencils, pencil boxes, markers, and scissors.
