Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Despite being a Title I school and having a large population of low income, at-risk, and limited English proficient students, our school has managed to maintain itself among the highest performing schools in our large urban school district, and we consistently earn recognition for our accomplishments from the state.

My students are all hardworking, energetic and eager, and they come to class each day ready to learn about how to become better students.

They come to my class eager to learn, they are like sponges.

My Project

I would like to make our technology center a more comfortable space for my students. Currently my students would have to sit in hard, uncomfortable chairs and it makes their computer time unsatisfactory. With the addition of the two computer chairs my students will look forward to their time in the technology center.

So much time is spent on our computer applications and my students would benefit from being comfortable during this time.

We do testing, lessons and reviews on the computer so I would like to make their time there more enjoyable.
