Let's Get Cooking in Pre-K!

Help me give my students a toaster oven, a blender, and cooking supplies to promote early learning skills and community!

My Project

Help my 4 year old Pre-K students work on developing fine motor, sequencing, turn taking, early literacy, counting, and science skills through cooking!

Cooking is wonderful way for young children to gain confidence and independence while working on early academic skills and sharing about their cultures in an immersive and engaging way.

My students come from diverse backgrounds, cultures, speak multiple languages, and have varying support needs in the classroom. Cooking is hands on, an important life skill, and will help my students learn about one another and make home-school connections while working on early academic and developmental skills.
