My Project

The K'Nex STEAM Explorations Simple Machine Levers and Pulleys Set will provide my students with the opportunity to acquire skills using a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to information and concepts as they build, investigate, discuss and evaluate scientific principles in action. This K'Nex set introduces concepts like lever classes, pulley systems, resistance, effort, mechanical avantage which will help my students with mechanical life skills. My underprivileged students come from many differnet cultures and there are 6 main different languages spoken at our school. Using hands-on materials like K'Nex helps my students connect with each other and encouragtes collaboration.

Learn While you Play with K'Nex Education!

K'Nex sets build replicas of real-world machines to gain an understanding of the principles that make simple machines work. Having these sets added to our STEAM centers would truly help my students with a concrete enducation on how levers and pulleys work.
