Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Last year my school received a large amount of asylum students that were from Texas and Florida. They came to us with very little to nothing. A lot of these families still have very little to nothing. The supplies that I am requesting are basic supplies that any classroom would need such as pencils, markers, paper and the like.

I also requested some board games.

The games would be a great way for the Spanish speaking students to learn the language through play. Last year it was so great to see how all the kids, no matter what language they spoke, play with Legos and Play dough. I would like to afford my new students a way to make friends while learning the language.
