Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class uses alternate curriculum which embeds many cooking lessons. These lessons are important because they target functional skills which create independence for my students. Having the adequate materials for these lessons is essential.

A classroom oven would greatly benefit my students!

We will be able to cook various recipes and meals in our classroom. Not only will students learn functional skills but they will also be able to learn about different cultures and foods from around the world. Having a class oven will be a wonderful addition to our class and will create so many learning opportunities.
