My Project

I have been teaching French and German for over 18 years at the MS level and what I have realized after so many years of experience is that students learn a lot faster and a lot better if they like the class and they have fun in it. In order to learn a foreign language, verbal practice is key but many students are anxious speaking in front of others.

I came up with the idea of adding to my regular practice doing old-fashioned games with them in the language from Jenga to Four square to Guess Who to hopscotch to teach them some basic vocabulary they need in a foreign language such as "out", "don't fall", "you touched me", "you moved", "here", "there", "jump", "faster" and so many more...

I hope I can continue to challenge all my students in a fun way and that speaking a foreign language becomes second nature to them.
