Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching essay writing is more than just learning the basics of how to put together paragraphs. It's also about how to teach students to become independent readers, writers, and thinkers. With this project, I'll be able to provide tools for my students to work at their own pace, but still receive guidance when needed.

My students are amazing human beings who are working really hard to learn how to navigate the journey of leaving childhood and becoming young adults.

They want to make more of their own choices and try new things while also knowing that they have a safety net to support them. I'm excited to be able to give them the opportunity to do this!
