Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I recently realized some important things I am missing in my classroom. These items will not only be effective for my students this year, but for the many students I have ahead of me to teach.

First, I wanted to add a few more math centers to my classroom.

Math centers allow me to meet with a small group of struggling students daily. While I am working in my small group, the rest of my students are engaged in their math centers. Math centers are exciting and all hands on. They love them, which helps them persevere threw the challenging problems.

In addition, I wanted the students to have a safe place to keep their books!
