My Students

I teach 26 general education, ENL kindergarteners. Our class is comprised of students of all different learning abilities, languages, and experiences. Many of my students come from families who are new to the country and many of these young learners are coming to school for the first time to learn to speak, understand, read, and write English. I also have students who receive services for speech and OT. My students come from varied backgrounds with different economic needs. These Kindergarteners are eager learners who want to succeed!

My Project

My lively and eager kindergarteners will experience many new and exciting science and social studies skills through the digital platforms of the Scholastic, Let's Find Out, and Science News. They will read along with the digital text and listen to videos and songs that are connected to the lesson being taught.

These materials will help to supplement our units of study.

They will be able to look at manipulatives being used and work is done when we use the document scanner and we will be able to open up our experiences as we explore the world around us during these unprecedented times.
