My Project

Over 45 million kids across the world suffer from malnutrition each year. That's over 45 million kids who attend schools worldwide who try to receive an education while being hungry. Instead of children focusing on what lessons to learn, they are too busy worrying about when they are going to eat their next meal. My goal is to feed kids throughout the day with snacks to give them the energy they need to stay focused during school. These snacks that I have requested will keep students engaged in learning environment.

Students become more engaged when there are incentives.

The incentives that I give out during class are snacks. Whenever I issue out snacks during instruction, I have a 100% participation rate. Half of the students I teach are below the poverty line and only receive meals when they are in school. This project would assist me with class participation and give me an opportunity to feed my students.
