Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Lets make this classroom more engaging. In Circle Time we all take attendance by playing a drum beat for each other to hear. By having a real drum the children will be engaged and exposed to real life musical instrument rather than a plastic one that doesn't make the real sound. Children enjoy sharing and passing the drum around the circle.

We dedicate so much of our classroom to Social Emotional Learning.

This is the start of school for these 3K children and many of them are not used to being away from home or with unfamiliar faces rather than family. We as teachers have to make them feel comfortable and allow them to express their feelings. These social emotional books are great for the school year especially with the children experiencing so many of these emotions.
