My Project

I would like to provide students within my school various ways to regulate their emotions. We want students to feel safe to express their emotions and seek help when needed. By providing students with fidgets, such as mindful maze boards and small stuffed animals, we hope to prevent students from the feelings of boredom, anxiety and agitation.

We know that students who can manage their emotions are better able to focus, pay attention, and learn effectively.

Fidget toys can provide a momentary distraction and an outlet for restless energy. Fidgeting can be a tool to help individuals self-regulate their emotions and energy levels by providing a controlled outlet for movement.
