Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As the students walk into the classroom their eyes brighten while they stare at experiments set up at their lab stations. "What are we going to investigate today?" they enthusiastically ask. The Science classroom is a place for exploration and investigation. The students are always ready to learn.

Working in an urban school district limits the supplies that are provided for our school.

However, my students are intelligent individuals who are thirsty for knowledge. We are in need of basic supplies in addition to supplies to help supplement their learning material. The students are always enthusiastic in learning new material and are interested in handling models and lab equipment. The Human Body models will help in aiding the knowledge they gain and deserve.

My Project

The Human Body Unit will permit students to understand the organs and systems that allow them to become the extraordinary mammals of this planet. Having models of the Human Body Leg, hand, and Miniature Muscular Body will permit the students to visualize and touch the various parts of the human body and reinforce the learning material. Students will be able to learn the muscles, tendons, ligaments, veins and arteries associated with the parts of the body. Students are always enthusiastic and enlightened with models and visuals. The Human Body will allow students to have a more elaborate understanding of their Human Body Unit.

Donations made towards the Human Body Project will improve classroom learning.

Students will be able to handle supplemental material that will assist their understanding of the anatomy of the body such as ligaments, muscles, tendons, etc. Students will have hands on experiences understanding parts of the Human Body. Learning will become student-centered so students are able to explore and investigate the anatomy of the Human Body at their own pace.
