My Students

The students in my classroom are incredibly diverse in terms of their talents, special skills, and abilities. Despite having to move to distance learning, they continue to show up everyday ready to learn and grow as scholars. We are beginning to explore what it means to have a growth mindset, and they continue to amaze me with their ability to persevere.

My Project

My students have had to participate in distance learning since March of 2020. Despite the current circumstances, every student does their absolute best to come to class everyday ready to learn. We have discussed the topic of Growth Mindset, and the students are eager to continue expanding on their knowledge of topics that personally interest them, but are even more excited to continue practicing things that they need "extra practice" in.

By donating to this project, I will be able to purchase digital resources that meet the needs of individual children in terms of what interesting topics they'd like to continue exploring/writing about, and also the subjects that they need more practice in.
