Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a classroom full of 49 creative, energetic, and outgoing scholars! They love thinking outside of the box, and engaging in hands-on activities. Our room is always full of laughter and positive energy. As a fifth grader unfortunately we are required to do a lot of testing. So in an effort to counteract the stress of testing we dance, sing, and start up a random teacher vs student game.

My elementary school is in the heart of Apopka, Florida.

Some of our families are low income families. When my students walk into the classroom I want them to let go of everything that is going on at home, and focus on learning in an exciting environment.

My Project

I have the pleasure of being a hybrid departmentalized teacher. I have a combined 27 students face to face and 22 students online. These headphones and whiteboards will give my scholar the added boost which is definitely needed for engagement.

I want to provide a safe engaging learning environment. The headphone and whiteboards will give my students privacy when they are working independently and extra spunk when we are doing review games.

My students love the opportunity to share their ideas. Whiteboard reviews are fun and will allow my online students the opportunity to share their answers without blurting them out for all to hear.
