My Students

My class consists of 23 amazing students, of which several are English learners. My students are very inquisitive. They are also very creative . My students love learning through play. They take challenges head on and will not give up until they have solved a problem. My students are very caring and will help each other on a daily basis. They love learning, exploring and love hands-on activities. My students enjoy reading and being read to. They love exploring and are quite curious when it comes to using technology.

My Project

The a fishing set, light table trays, alphabet and letter games, translucent counters, and other materials I am asking for will help my students learn using sensory, light and knowledge. Most children only get to play in sand at the beach and some families cannot afford to take their children to the beach. The sand table will give these students a chance to feel the sand between their fingers.

Children learn more when they are excited and engaged.

These materials will allow my students to get excited about learning. The fishing rods with letters will allow them to imagine they are fishing in a lake and catching a big fish.

I cannot wait to see the excitement on their faces as they learn.
