Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at our school are scholars. They are challenged in school academically! They succeed and prove that they can do whatever they set their minds to.

Many of our students are in extra curriculars after school.

They join sports teams, robotics, and even weightlifting classes that are offered at our school! Funding is spread so thin, that the drill team and tall flag team has to find their own ways to get materials. Our speakers are not loud enough to put together full productions. Our cones are shared with other teams and the tape is non existent.

With cones, tape, and a speaker, we can be competitive and bring home trophies! This will help us in many ways. If we can hear our music, we can create intricate dances. We can condition and motivate our students to remain fit throughout our program. The tape will help us section off the floor to help our students memorize their formations. The cones will also help us challenge our students with certain drills.

It's a sight to see as we continue to grow our team. Understandably, we want to encourage our hundreds of students to join after school groups to challenge themselves both physically and academically.
