Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our young learners are currently learning about our school, classroom environment, and their classmates. Creating a warm classroom environment and providing them with materials will allow them to them develop a sense of belonging so that they can thrive throughout the school year.

As a preschool teacher, I truly believe that creating a welcoming environment will allow my students to feel safe, loved, and excited to come to school!

A rug in our morning meeting area will allow my students to sit comfortable and engage in learning activities, such as reciting songs and engaging in read alouds. Our classroom decorations will support our progressive/reggio inspired classroom and school. My classroom allows a lot of independent work time and group activities. Therefore, I want to support my students as they become independent learners.
