Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The counters I am requesting will help my students learn number sense in a fun and exciting way. They love to count and what better way to count and learn numbers than by having an assortment of objects to count. I like to provide them with a variety of objects to count on a daily basis.

Our students will have an opportunity to count different objects everyday.

They count whole group and in small groups multiple times throughout the day. It willl help me keep the activities fresh when I can provide students with so many different shapes to count. It will also make it more exciting when they can count favorite ocean animals, dinosaurs, and farm animals. My students benefit greatly from being able to count concrete objects since this is the first school experience for most of my students and some of my students have special needs.
