Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are 3-4 years old special needs students. Some of my students do not have some of the supplies to do there work at home. They do have iPads but don't like to be on the computer for a long period of time. I have activities for them to do, but some students can not complete them because they do not have the materials.

My Project

I teach children 3-4 with special needs. When we were in the classroom the children would be able to work in the art area, work in the alphabet area and play in the kitchen and with animals.

Since we are doing remote learning some of the students are not able to do some of the activities because they do not have paper, glue, markers.

They also can not continue to practice their letters, numbers, colors, and shapes since they do not have those materials at home. We do the work during the day but it is also important for them to have these materials to work with at home, and continue through out there preschool years. My students also learn through play and some of them do not have the toys to play with and learn. They love learning and playing in the kitchen and also there animals. This will also help while I am teaching with my materials that they also have the same ones. I want to thank you in advance from me and all my students for your generosity.
