My Students

I love my students! I teach a 3rd grade ENL (English as a New Language) class in a Title 1 school in the lower east side of Manhattan. The demographics of my students are Asian-American and Hispanic. Their levels range from expanding to commanding and they are all becoming very proficient in the English language.

My students come to school each and every day filled with energy and excitement about learning.

They are a unique, compassionate and driven group of curious children who I love to provide with the most engaging and effective materials to help them reach their highest potential.

My Project

This project will make a huge difference in my students' learning! This device will be hooked up to the Promethean Board in the classroom so the students at home can engage in live teaching and have the opportunity to be present during morning and afternoon meetings with their classmate who are in school!

It is so crucial for the students to continue to be social with each other whether they are at home or at school and this webcam will assist with that.

It will also assist when I am live teaching where they can join in!
